![]() ![]() ![]() The Chicken appears as an obstacle when playing as Disco Zoo.The Chicken is used as the primary app icon, centered in a light blue background. It is not possible to purchase or unlock it from the Prize Machine. The Chicken is the first mascot the player will get, as it is available when the app is first downloaded. Chickens appear in groups and will start to move side to side in a dancing fashion when the disco mode arrives and will stop dancing and start staring at you when the disco mode stops. The Chicken makes an appearance while playing as the Disco Zoo. ![]() It will also occasionally cluck when walking, and when dying (e.g., when it hits a car). When hit by a car or a train, feathers will fly into the air from the Chicken. The only enemy is the Eagle, who will pick up the player if they idle for too long. Upon game play, the terrain will be the normal grasslands. Its body is white, with red blocks representing the comb (top of head) and wattle (under the beak) that chickens have. The eyes are level with the beak and about 1/4 of the way in.The Chicken has a basic structure similar to the Baby Duck. I then finished with the eyes using a black permanent marker pen. When this was dry I used super glue for the cock comb and beak, plus PVA for the legs. Once I had all my parts ready I primed and painted using acrylic. I drilled into the chicken body part to sink the legs in like a dowel. counter sunk into the feet and rounded the top half into a dowel (Each leg approx 8 cm) showing only 3.5 cm. The feet were cut out using 12mm MDF, its basically a capable A, (see images). I started with the body, using an offcut of MDF which was 3x 18mm glued together from an old project (total MDF block 5.5 cm). I didn't have any measurements for this when I made it, I just winged it, (pun intended). I used scrap wood for this project, mostly MDF. Here's how I made a wooden chicken from the popular mobile game Crossy Road. ![]()
